My opponents will lose deposits: Mukesh Goud
Abids: Exuding confidence over his victory, former minister and Goshamahal Congress candidate Mukesh Goud said that his opponents are sure to lose their deposits in the election. He was speaking during his election campaign in colonies around Gowliguda. He undertook padayatra in various colonies around Gowliguda and appealed to them to vote for him.
Speaking during his campaign, he said that both his opponents TRS’ Prem Singh Rathod and BJP’s Raja Singh are sure to be defeated by him in the elections. Criticising Raja Singh for ignoring the constituency, he said that Raja Singh could not even spend the funds allotted under MLA quota and as a result, the funds were returned due to time lapse. He said that crores of funds were spent on several developmental works during his term as MLA for ten years. Raja Singh instigated people with his hate speeches and divided people on religious lines, he said. He said that Singh has no moral right to seek votes.
Condemning PD Act cases filed against poor people, he accused TRS government of playing with lives of poor people residing in Dhoolpet. He urged people to teach a lesson to both parties and vote for him. Several Congress senior leaders, party workers and colony residents participated in the campaign.
