Old rulers looted Telangana: Jagadish Reddy

Penpahad (Suryapet): Caretaker Minister G Jagadish Reddy stated that united Andhra Pradesh rulers made villages of Telangana graveyards. 

On Friday, campaigned at Singireddy Palem, Anantharam, Potlapadu, Dupadu, Lingala villages in Penpahad mandal of Suryapet constituency. Addressing the gatherings, he said the old dacoit team which looted the Telangana State over 60 years with hidden agenda formed   an alliance in the name of people’s front. TRS, which led the Telangana movement over 14 years, ruled the State as per the aspirations of the people in past four years.

He mocked at Telangana Congress leaders and asserted that Congress leaders became puppets in the hands of TDP supremo Chandrababu  Naidu striking an alliance  and forming the People’s Front. He stated that the villages of Telangana were centres of unrest during the Congress, TDP tenures in the united AP and are now peaceful due to efforts taken by the TRS government. He alleged that his rival Congress and BJP candidates had faction track record and are roaming with money bags to woo the voters of Suryapet constituency.

He advised the people of the constituency not to get in the trap of the People’s Front’s false promises and urged them to vote for car for overall development of the Suryapet. As many as Rs 3,700 crore works were carried out for the development of Suryapet constituency during the TRS regime.

He assured the people that he would establish industrial park and auto nagar in 200 acres in Suryapet to provide employment to the local youth. He reminded the KCR’s assurance of establishment of dry port in Suryapet. He stated that farmers of Suryapet constituency will get Irrigation facility for two crops from next year through Kaleshwaram project. 

He listed out the developmental and welfare schemes implemented during the TRS rule and explained his future plans to make Suraypet a role model in the next five years. Rajya Sabha member Badugula Lingaiah Yadav, MPP Bukya Padma, party’s mandal president Miryala Venkateshwarulu, local party leaders and large number of villagers participated in the meeting.
