Sarve Satyanarayana lambasts KCR rule
Secunderabad: Former Union Minister and Cantonment Assembly Congress candidate Sarve Satyanarayana criticized the caretaker CM for not keeping up his promise of developing the constituency. He recalled the promise of KCR that Rs 100 crore would be spent for development and adopting the constituency. He said that Sayanna who had been MLA for past 20 years did nothing for the constituency.
Sarve said that except for development works implemented during the period when he was MP, no other works were taken up by the ruling party. People got benefitted by only a few schemes such as Kalyanlakshmi and Shadi Mubarak, he flayed. If elected, he said he would transform the constituency into a tourist place like Ooty. He promised to provide land, construct houses for poor and downtrodden, and prevent land encroachments. He said that he would coordinate with military officials in addressing various issues. Former Cantonment Board vice-presidents Jampana Prathap, Jayprakash, Bhanuka Mallikarjun, senior Congress leaders M Amerender Reddy, P Gouri Shankar, D Yadagiri and others were present.
