Several Vaishyas join TRS party
Musheerabad: Members of Arya Vaishya community led by their leader K Rajeshwar Gupta, Sudhakar and Erram Srinivas Gupta joined TRS party in the presence of caretaker minister Naini Narsimha Reddy in a private auditorium at Ram Nagar on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, minister said that separate corporations would be established for Reddy and Arya Vaishya communities to help the poor from these communities. He cautioned the people to be careful of deceitful statements of Congress, TDP and BJP leaders and asked them to elect the right candidate based on their past performance. He said that TRS government has been providing drinking water to every house in Hyderabad. During the Congress and TDP rule, people used to stage frequent protests at Jalamandali, he added.
Naini questioned leaders of opposition parties why they were not speaking about farmer-friendly schemes of Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bheema in their election campaigns. Many opposition MLAs themselves handed over Kalyanlakshmi and Raithu Bandhu cheques to beneficiaries and why can’t they speak about the schemes, he questioned. He appealed people not to get deceived by opposition leaders’ statements against TRS and vote for their candidate based on their performance during last four years. Later, Naini participated in the election campaign along with the constituency corporators V Srinivas Reddy, GHMC standing committee member, Padma Naresh and other TRS leaders Muta Jaisimha, M Moses and M Prabhakar.
