Yoganand takes part in road show
Serilingampally: G Yoganand, Serilingampally BJP candidate participated in a road show held in Madhapur division on Friday. The road show started at RTA office Kondapur and passed through Kothaguda, Gokul Plots, and New Hafizpet. Speaking during the road show, he said that his focus would be mainly on creation of basic facilities in the colonies such as public transportation, pollution, drinking water, flood control and sewerage, MMTS and Metro Rail.
“I have come into politics to serve people and not to earn money. That is the reason I selected BJP which stands for honesty and moral values,” he said. Criticising TRS government, he said that the party had failed to keep up its promises. Referring to the TRS promise of not seeking votes if it fails to provide water to every house, he said that the party has no moral right to seek votes now that it failed keep up its promise. He said that BJP would find permanent solutions to the issues such as overflowing sewerage lines and bad roads.
Emphasising his focus on public transportation, he said that TRS government has failed to develop necessary infrastructure for public transportation to meet the growing needs of people. He demanded the increase of special bus services for women travelling to IT corridor from nearby Metro and MMTs stations. Among those who participated in the campaign were BJP leaders Prabhakar Yadav, Hari, Srinivas Reddy, Krishna Goud, Narsimha Yadav and others.
