Madan Reddy did nothing for people: Gopi
Narsapur: BJP candidate Gopi said that the Congress contestant has no right to seek votes from the people of the constituency. Speaking at an election campaign held at Gottimukkala village on Monday, he said former MLA Madan Reddy did nothing for the constituency. “Government allotted Rs 5 crore for the development of constituency but not even 10 per cent of it has been spent,” he alleged.
Educated youth remained jobless and several issues of the constituency were not even mentioned in the House, he criticised. “When I requested for the extension of roads from Balanagar to Bodhan, the then union minister Nitin Gadkari sanctioned Rs 450 crore. But the TRS government did not take any initiative,” he said. He appealed to the people to vote for him considering welfare measures introduced by the union government. He promised to set up an English model school in the constituency.
