Bahadurpura: As part of election campaign, Union Minister of Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and BJP candidate Haneef Ali held a road show in Bahadurpura constituency on Tuesday.

While addressing an election meeting, Naqvi said some people and parties have opened “communal auction centers for votes,” where the so-called “champions of secularism” bid for votes. Some “mercilessly and shamefully” bid for votes, often in the name of religion and sometimes scaring voters against BJP. But, such nefarious activities like “Vote Ke Saudagar” (traders of votes) have to be exposed.

The BJP Party has followed the policy of “Empowerment without Appeasement” and “Development with Dignity”. Our Government has made every needy section of the society an equal partner of the development process. “We have created the atmosphere of ‘Development with Trust’,” Naqvi said. But, some people are unable to digest the atmosphere, and they are trying to disturb the development process, he added.

The party has been successful in creating an atmosphere of “development with trust” among all sections of the society without any discrimination during last about four-and-a-half years. “The party is working for the development of villages, farmers, women and youth. Today, every section of the society has become an equal partner in the development process.” said the Union Minister.
