GHMC staff yet to act on Swachh grievances

KPHB Colony: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has invited denizens in Hyderabad district to use the website www.swachhmanch.in to post the Swachh events and sanitation efforts in the neighborhood. Citizens can log into www.swachhmanch.in through their mobiles and upload photographs of garbage, maintenance of toilets and related issues pertaining to sanitation which would be monitored by the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoUHA). While citizens can give feedback, the urban bodies and the government can send them to the centre for achieving better ranking in Swachh Surakshan.

R K Yadav resident at KPHB colony has recently uploaded the issue on the given link and later on twitter speaking of the garbage found everywhere on the premises of Metro station KPHB. The officials have not responded anything to this issue yet. Though the officials have asked the general people to log in and upload their issues, no one has solved the issue.

Also, most of the commuters and residents are asking the officials to turn the premises into greenery so that it will look better at the area. This garbage where mosquitoes make it hard to live, a majority of households face this issue and are in danger of contracting deadly diseases. People should be cautious before throwing the garbage at the area, he said. An official said, “This garbage is thrown by the commuters travelling through metro. We are maintaining the metro stations but the citizens here are often seen throwing garbage everywhere around. The team has been informed about this issue and soon the problem will be solved.”
