Singireddy flays Opposition on final day of campaign
Wanaparthy: Showing his might and public power in Wanaparthy, Singireddy Niranjan Reddy, TRS MLA contestant from Wanaparthy, took out a huge rally with thousands of supporters who chanted slogans favouring Singireddy on Wednesday.
While speaking at a press meet, Singireddy Niranjan Reddy flayed the opposition parties for attacking him personally rather than coming for a debate on development. “The opposition parties are resorting to personal attacks to tarnish my image in the public.
This kind of attitude of the Mahakutami parties will only back fire. As they do not have anything to talk about their works, they are trying to defame me. But people know what I am and what I have done for them though I was defeated from Wanaparthy last time. This time am confident I will win with a record majority and develop Wanaparthy into a model constituency,” said Singi Reddy.
Attacking the opposition parties on their allegations that Telangana state had gone into debts, Singireddy Niranjan Reddy said that TRS government during the past 4 and a half year rule had created wealth and resources worth more than lakhs of crores which will reap fruits for our future generations. “We may have debts today, but what we have done during past 4 years is what matters.
Our government had taken up Kaleshwarm project with a cost of 80,000 crore, Palamurur Ranga Reddy project at a cost of Rs. 35,000 crore, Mission Bhageeratha with Rs 40,000 crore. And under Mission Kakatiya, we have renovated more than 450 lakes. Do the opposition parties think all these are unwanted things? Are these not the assets of Telangana people which would reap fruits of development for the people,” he asked.
“Under the irrigation projects the crops that would grow will generate wealth worth many hundreds of lakhs of crores for the state. What have the Congress and TDP done to Telangana during the past 60 years of their rule? Nothing.
The people had no water for drinking and irrigation. No employment and were migrating to cities and towns for livelihood. In the past 4 years we have reversed this trend and showed that Telangana will prosper only and if it comes out of AP and we proved it,” Niranjan pointed out.
“In Wanaparthy alone, we have provided irrigation water for 70,000 acres. We are also planning to make the town an educational hub and planning to set up a IIIT and a Government medical college soon. If voted to power, I will ensure Wanaparthy will be developed into a model constituency,” said Niranjan Reddy.
