Ambedkar’s service to society unparallel

Musheerabad: On the occasion of 63nd death anniversary of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, architect of Indian constitution, Senior Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao, IAS officer Murali, Telangana State Congress youth president Anil Kumar Yadav, former deputy mayor G Rajkumar, and other dalit and Bahujan Left Party (BLP) leaders paid homage to the statue of Ambedkar, located at lower Tank Bund on Thursday. 

Speaking on the occasion, Hanumantha Rao praised Ambedkar’s contributions in bridging the gap between the socially downtrodden, backward sections and other sections of the society through the constitution of India. He lauded the efforts of Ambedkar to remove untouchability from Indian society. He urged banning of the leaders who go against the spirit of the constitution from contesting in elections. Several dalit leaders spoke on the occasion and praised Ambedkar’s contributions to Indian society.
