Yoganand expresses confidence of winning

Serilingampally: Yoganand, the BJP candidate, on Friday expressed confidence of winning from this constituency, claiming that voters had reposed their faith in the party. He noted that there was 50 per cent voting, after going round the Serilingampally area, chatting with voters and encouraging them.

He told The Hans India that the party’s offer of developing the constituency, besides providing suitable facilities, seemed to have influenced the voters. ‘My promise of providing a model administration if elected in an affidavit besides taking a pledge in the presence of Swamy ParIpoornanda generated confidence in the voters’.

Yoganand claimed that his assertion of winning  got a boost after the voters appeared to have shown lack of faith in the TDP after its leaders boasted about their past performance, forgot their poll assurances and yet joined the poll fray as part of the People’s Front. ‘This confidence gave a feeling to me that a majority of the voters are backing the BJP’. The party leaders claimed that Yoganand’s style of campaigning and clear action plans on development would surely see him through. They too visited the polling centres and observed the voting pattern. They gave suitable suggestions to the activists.
