KCR will form govt: Owaisi

​Hyderabad: AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi was confident that the people of Telangana would once again bless Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao with big numbers and he would form the government without anyone’s support. Asaduddin, who went to the Chief Minister’s camp office Pragati Bhavan on his bike all alone on Monday, held discussions on the political situation in the state for about three hours. Later, he spoke to the media outside the Pragati Bhavan. 

“I came here to meet caretaker CM Chandrashekar Rao saheb. I have a belief that the people of Telangana will make Chandrashekar Rao as Chief Minister. Tomorrow when results come- KCR will become Chief Minister again... there is no second thought, he will form the government without support from anyone. 

“MIM is standing with KCR. There is no second thought. We are supporting the TRS because we want Telangana to be peaceful and development should continue.” Replying to a question, Owaisi said the TRS president will not need even the support of MIM. When asked about the invitation of Congress leaders into the Front, Owaisi said, “My meeting today with KCR is answer to the question. If the Congress is saying such a thing, they should tell us with whom I have talked to. 

My visit to KCR saheb should clear this.” When asked about the BJP strengthening its roots in the state, Owaisi said that such a situation would not arise and added that whatever strength the BJP had (5) will decrease on Tuesday. 

Replying to a question over coming on the bike, Owaisi said, “Ye mera shehar hai (this is my city), I want to tell how peaceful Hyderabad is. See how good atmosphere is there in Hyderabad. This atmosphere is for ‘gaadi’ and ‘motorcycle’. I will again meet him tomorrow. We want our eight candidates to win and we want KCR to become Chief Minister.”
