SP Chandrashekhar Reddy inspects security arrangements for vote counting
Patancheru: Tight security arrangements have been made for peaceful conduct of vote counting for the Patancheru constituency to be held at Gitam University here on Tuesday. District Superintendent of Police Chandrashekhar Reddy reviewed the security arrangements at the centre on Monday. Chandrashekhar said that one SP, three DSPs, 15 CIs, 32 SIs, 180 PCs, three special parties, four bomb squads and one company of CISF would be placed at the counting centre as part of security arrangements.
The agents, counting staff and other election staff would not be allowed to bring match boxes, mobile phones or any electronic gadgets into the vote counting centre, he said. Deputy Superintendent of Police P Rajeshwar Reddy and Circle Inspector Naresh were present on the occasion.
