Traffic curbs at Raj Bhavan Road
Hyderabad: In view of the swearing-in ceremony of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) supremo K Chandrashekar Rao as the Chief Minister of Telangana State at Raj Bhavan on Thursday at 1.30pm, the city traffic police issued an advisory.
Commuters are requested to opt for other routes to avoid traffic congestion at the Raj Bhavan road from Monappa Island (Rajiv Gandhi Statue) to V V Statue Junction. The traffic congestion is expected from 12 pm to 3 pm. On need basis, the traffic will be diverted or stopped at Monappa Island and V V Statue Junction. Panjagutta – Raj Bhavan quarters road (Metro Residency) will be closed for general traffic on both sides during this period.
Parking of vehicles at Raj Bhavan
The following places are earmarked for parking places of vehicles at Raj Bhavan. MPs and newly elected MLAs and MLCs vehicles parked at Gate No-III to Administrative Block. Media vehicles parked at Dilkusha Guest house. Other VIP vehicles and government dignitary vehicles will be parked at MMTS parking lot. From Metro Residency to NASR School and from Lake View Guest house to V V statue junction single line parking will be maintained. Traffic police requested the citizens to take alternate routes to their destinations and avoid the Raj Bhavan road during the specified timings and co-operate with them.
