Circle Inspector Anjapalli Nagamallu presented with leadership award

LB Nagar: LB Nagar Traffic Circle Inspector (CI) Anjapalli Nagamallu bagged 2018 Business Leadership Award. It was presented by Sun Media. Nagamallu hailed from Chilvakuntla Village in Nuthankal Mandal of Suryapet District. He became reserve CI in his first attempt. He is a patriotic singer, and his songs on police martyrs reaped good response from all sections of the society. 

Deeply moved by an incident where a woman was burnt alive in Nalgonda in 2005 on suspicion of black magic, Nagamallu demonstrated his protest against the incedent by towing a vehicle tied to his body for about a kilometer. He even walked over fire to sensitise people on not to believe in black magic. 
Nagamallu was presented with the award as a sign of appreciation for such services he rendered. He expressed happiness over receiving the award, and said that the award encouraged him to do service to even more number of people. He added that serving people gives him the utmost happiness.
