IEEE InCAP 2018 meet begins

Hyderabad: The IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society is organising InCAP 2018, a new series of Indian conference on antennas and propagation, launched this year by all seven IEEE APS Chapters of India. InCAP is conceived as an annual flagship conference on antennas and propagation in India by merging three popular and successful Indian IEEE conferences namely AEMC, IAW, and iAIM, in order to provide a wider and more professional forum to the student members, young scientists, engineers, and academia. This will be the largest conference of its kind in India with expected attendees of about 400, presenting more than 275 technical papers on various domains of Antenna Technology. 

To encourage students, young professionals and women-in-engineering, InCAP has subsidised their registration fee by 50 percent. To encourage Indian Antenna Engineers to compete with best in the world multiple awards amounting to more than Rs 1.5 lakh are introduced. A committee comprising the world’s best antenna expert will evaluate the papers and will announce the awards on December 18. The first InCAP is being held in Hyderabad from December 16-19 at the Hyderabad International Convention Center (HICC). The Conference was inaugurated by Dr. G Sathish Reddy, Chairman DRDO & Secretary, DoDR&D.  There are about 25 international sponsors and exhibitors participating in the conference. Dr. Reddy also Inaugurated the exhibition on latest Antenna related developments.
