Pensioners association elects new president Kanakam Komurelli

Hyderabad: Kanakam Komurelli was elected as the president of Telangana state pensioners association here on Monday. Elections for the association body was held under the supervision of J Ramachandra Reddy. 

In the election conducted on Monday, Thumu Ashok Reddy was elected as the general secretary, K Yadagiri as associate president, G Suryakala as executive president, V Diwakar as treasurer, V Chandrakala as vice president, CHV Bhadraiah, TN Shobha, K Veerender and SMD Mukthar as joint secretaries, and P Rajaiah, P Ramkrishna Reddy, K Lakshman Rao, K Sudhakar, M Vijayavani, A Jhansi Rani, P Saraswathi, Dharani Shanta Reddy, AS Rajeshwar Rao, V Nagesh and B Dayakar as members of the association.

Kanakam hoped that Chief Minister KChandrashekar Rao who is sworn in for the second time would provide popular governance and improve the economy of the state even further. Stating that they are the members of APNGOs Gachibowli Max Housing Society, he said that the land allocated to the society had been taken over by the government. He requested the government to reconsider its decision and restore the land to the society.
