Voter enumeration taken up ward-wise

Zaheerabad: MPDO of Mogudumpally mandal Ramulu said that voter enumeration has been taken up in villages of Mogudumpally mandal of Zaheerabad district. Based on the instructions received from the state government, this enumeration is undertaken to know the number of BCs, SCs and STs in each ward of the village. 

This survey would be completed before December 17 and submitted to the District Collector, he said. The process is already completed in 38 village panchayats out of total 44 villages and the enumeration in the remaining village panchayats would be completed by Monday evening, Ramulu said. The reservation for panchayat elections would be decided based on population of various sections, he added.
