40 pc of voters in Adilabad district are BCs

Adilabad: The district administration has completed the process of enrolling voters for Panchayat Raj elections. The late data shows that there are 1,33,632 Backward Classes voters in the Adilabad district. There are 467 gram panchayats under 17 mandals. In all, there are 3,822 wards.

Among the BC voters, Men (67,654) and outnumber  women  (65,960). On the orders of the government, district administration prepared Backward Classes voters list| In Adilabad district, Jainath Mandal has highest number BC voters with 19,891 and lowest in Gadhiguda mandal where  there are 423.

According to official records, total voters in the Adilabad district are 3,36,647, Including male 1,68,753 and women 1,67,831 and others 63.
According to caste-based l Scheduled Tribes voters  account for 1,29,152, including men 64,232 and women 64,896.
