All set for KTR visit
Warangal: With KT Rama Rao is scheduled to make his first appearance in the erstwhile Warangal district on Thursday in a new role as the TRS Party Working President, the district top brass is all geared to give him a rousing welcome.
With the Cabinet expansion is impending; so that it’s time for the MLA-elects and the senior leaders to impress upon KTR. The pack is led by former Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari, MLA-elects Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar, Nannapuneni Narender, Peddi Sudarshan Reddy, Thatikonda Rajaiah, KUDA chairman Marri Yadava Reddy and others.
A mega bike rally has been planned from Madikonda, suburbs of Kazipet, to Hanamkonda. After laying foundation stone for the TRS Urban Party Office, KTR will speak to cadres at Kakatiya Degree College (KDC) Grounds. KTR is also scheduled to lay foundation stone for the party office building at Janagaon on his way to Hanamkonda.
Earlier in the day, the leaders inspected the public meeting venue at KDC grounds near Hanamkonda bus station. Party leaders and cadres are on a high since the TRS had won 10 out of the 12 seats in the recent Assembly elections.
Meanwhile, speculation is rife that Errabelli Dayakar Rao (Palakurthi) and D S Redya Naik (Dornakal) are tipped to get ministerial berths in the Cabinet expansion. It is also learnt that there was a hectic lobbying for ministerial berths from the erstwhile Warangal district.
Vinay Bhaskar, Aruri Ramesh and Nannapuneni Narender are also trying their best to get included in the Cabinet. On the other hand, Kadiyam Srihari is also expected to make the Cabinet cut. This apart, several TRS leaders are also expecting plum posts especially nominated in the government.
