Drainage issue solved at Papireddy Nagar
Serilingampally: Residents of Papireddy Nagar have been facing severe inconvenience due to drainage issues for the last last week. As the air tech machines were not available, authorities found it difficult to clear the drains as manual labor is not allowed to enter sewerage lines.
When Papireddy Colony Welfare Association general secretary Chittireddy Sridhar Reddy took the issue to the notice of MLA Arekapudi Gandhi and local corporator Jupally Satyanarayana, they responded and spoke to senior officials. An air tech machine was immediately dispatched to the area and drainage lines which were jammed in B and C blocks of the colony were immediately cleared. Members of the colony association Sridhar Reddy, M Rajaiah, E Devender Reddy and Ramkrishna Reddy thanked sanitation officials, MLA and corporator for immediate response.
