Students JAC demands separate Devarakonda district

Devarakonda: Students JAC demanded government to form  Devarakonda district for the welfare of tribes and development  of tribal habitations of the region.

Under the aegis of the JAC, students formed a human chain near the bus stand of the town on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, students’ leaders opined that the government formed many districts in the State for easy administration and welfare of the people but ignored the backward Devarakonda during the carving of districts. People of Dindi has to travel 100 kms to reach the district headquarters Nalgonda and to meet Collector and SP for submitting for official works.

Devakonda division has lakhs of tribal people but not getting benefits sufficiently due to distance factor. Carving of Devarakonda district is the only solution for the development of tribes and hamlets, they said.

Student JAC leaders K Ramsingh, Y Krishna , K Raju, K Nagaraju, N Suresh , N Anjaneyulu, Ch Murali Krishna,  R Laxman, V Venkateshwarlu, Seva Naik,  Md Qadeer, Faiz , Nagarjuna, Praveen and large number of college students participated in the programme.
