Nannuri Narsireddy asks government to recruit artistes on permanent basis

Hyderabad: Telangana TDP general secretary Nannuri Narsireddy on Wednesday demanded that the State government recruit artistes on vacant posts on permanent basis instead of consolidated monthly salary. Nannuri said the TRS, in its first stunt of regime, had said there would be no contract or outsourcing recruitments and all these posts would be regularised after coming to power. But, the TRS was resorting to the same method and recruitments have been taking place on contract and outsourcing basis in the State, the TDP leader alleged.

Artists in the State played their role during the separate State agitation. Instead of appointing them on contract and outsourcing basis, their services should be regularised and further appointments should be made on permanent basis, he said. Reminding that the Hyderabad High Court had reprimanded the State government after TRS retained power for second time for its policy of appointing of panchayatraj secretaries, Nannuri said the TRS government should follow transparent policy in the recruitments without giving room for any judicial entangle.
