Protest staged seeking 34% quota for BCs

Munugodu (Nalgonda): Social activist and Gattuppal Sadana Samithi convener Edem Kailasam has demanded that the State government provide early 34 per cent reservations to Backward Classes in the ensuring Gram Panchayat elections.
He said reservations for BCs should be provided to ensure social justice to the downtrodden. He was participating in one-day protest demonstration organised by Telangana Social justice party. Party constituency in- charge B Venkatesh Goud also participated in the protest.
Speaking on this occasion , he demanded that all parties include in the election manifetos that they would support a legislation to provide reservations for Backward Classes.
