Service to man is service to god at Musheerabad

Musheerabad: The Director of Vivekananda Institute of Languages, Shitikantananda Swamy, advised people to serve fellow human beings and perform actions that are beneficial to the society. He was speaking at memorial programme of late P Lakshmi Narasaiah, bank association leader, held at Sundaraiah Kalanilayam on Wednesday. 

The Swamy advised people to always engage themselves in serving fellow human beings and help downtrodden people who are in need of help. Installing statues of a person would not help in propagating his principles and values, he said. Referring to Vivekananda’s request not to build his statues after his death, he lamented that his statues can be seen everywhere. He advised everyone to read the book Karmayoga at least once in their lives. He lauded the services of the late P Lakshmi Narsaiah has fought for well-being of bank employees. Among those who participated in the program were S Ramnath, KS Murthy, speakers Ganti Sheshagiri Rao, P Shiv Shankar Reddy, Dr Krishna Kumar, M Manaiah and others.
