146 bldgs at Mecca for Haj pilgrims stay in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Special officer at TS Haj Committee Prof SA Shukoor returned to Hyderabad from Saudi Arabia on Thursday, after the completion of building selection process at Mecca in Saudi Arabia to provide accommodation to the Haj pilgrims during Haj 2019.

Shukoor said he selected 146 buildings in Mecca for accommodation for the haj pilgrims, of which some 129 buildings are in Aziziyah category and some 17 buildings are in Green zone category or No Cooking No Transport (NCNT) zone. He ensured the pilgrims of all necessary amenities during their stay in the buildings. He met the Noor Mohammed Shaik, consul general of India and Mohammed Shahed Alam, deputy consul general of India.
