Siddhi Vinayaka Jayanti fete at Rejinthal

Zaheerabad: Member of Parliament BB Patil and local MLA Manik Rao on Thursday participated in the grand 219th Siddhi Vinayaka Jayanti celebrations, which have been going on for the last four days, on the outskirts of Rejinthal village. ‘Yagam purnahuti’ was conducted during the day in the presence of Peetadhipathi of Barthipur Ashram Avadutha Girimaharaj. 

Patil, who carried the lord’s palanquin, performed a special pooja. He took part in the procession. The temple archakas accorded a ‘purna kumbham’ welcome to the MP. Devotees from Karnataka, Maharashtra, MP besides the two Telugu States, have been making a beeline to the shrine for a ‘darshan’ of Siddhi Vinayaka.
