Signature campaign launched for Pandurangapuram-Sarapaka rly line

Bhadrachalam (Kothagudem): Requesting the Central government to allot a railway line from Pandurangapuram village to Sarapaka village, the Railway Line Sadhana Committee on Monday launched a signature campaign here in the temple town of Bhadrachalam.

Committee convenor B Shankar Reddy and members Ch Srinivas, Golla Bhupathi Rao, Subba Raju and Umashankar Naidu took up the programme on the roads of the town.  

Speaking on the occasion, Shankar Reddy appealed to the Central government to allot a railway line from Pandurangapuram village to Sarapaka village as it would decrease the travelling distance for the devotees visiting Bhadrachalam besides being useful to the local people.

They urged the government to allot the railway line and the funds for it during the current session of Parliament. The Committee members informed that the signatures collected would be sent to the Prime Minister for further action.
