Devireddy to address rain-related issues

 Mansoorabad: MLA Devireddy Sudheer Reddy assured to address problems in ensuing monsoon here on Wednesday. He said that they identified problematic areas in Mansoorabad division keeping in view of the rainy season.

 In Vanasthalipuram division, the drainage water from upward area, overflowing open drains and underground drainage system in Agamaiah Colony and its surrounding colonies identified as problematic areas, he observed. 

Devireddy Sudheer Reddy blamed poor maintenance of drainage system in the division. He advised officials to prepare plans to establish big trunk line for a permanent solution to the problem.

 He also said that it would last for another 30 years without creating any problems. He said that they also identified some areas that could become marooned in the division during rainy season. 

The MLA said that earlier, even showers led to waist-level water on the roads. The MLA-elect assured to solve the problems by 2020. He also assured to address of high tension wire on roof tops at Hakimabad Colony. 

He, along with officials and party leaders, toured Agamaiah Colony Phase 1 and 2, Ganesh Nagar Colony Phase 1 and 2, Hakimabad Colony, Sainath Colony, Bank Colony, Mallikarjun Nagar Colony, Indra Nagar and Eswaramma complex in the division.
