Radhothsavam Seva held with pomp

Bhadrachalam (Kothagudem): The Radhothsavam Seva was held with much fanfare at the Bhadrachalam temple on Tuesday evening. The priests conducted the programme on account of Sankranti festival.

In the early hours, a Yagnam was performed by the priests, after which the deities were attired in silk cloths. The Radham was decorated with beautiful flowers and illuminated with colourful lights. Amid the chants of sacred mantras, the priests started the Seva. 

In the morning, Nitya Kalyanam (the celestial wedding) was also performed by the priests in Beda Mandapam, where a large number of couples witnessed the wedding. Meanwhile, a large number of devotees thronged the temple on the day. 

While the cottages and lodges were occupied with devotees, the temple authorities had to make special arrangements for providing hassle-free darshan and distribution of laddu prasadam. Further, Bhadrachalam first class magistrate C Suresh visited the temple on the day.
