Five held in murder case

Choutuppal: The district police have arrested five persons in connection with alleged murder of Katrothu Baddhu (65) of Rachakonda village of Narayanpuram mandal in the district on January 15.

The arrested were identified as Katrothu Bala (26), K Raju (32), K Srinu (29), K Ramulu (62) and Katrothu Ravinder alias Ravi (38). All are residents of Rachakonda village.

On Thursday, producing the arrested before the media in Choutuppal, Yadadri- Bhongir DCP Ramchandra Reddy informed that deceased Katrothu Baddu and Ravinder had personal enmity and were involved in fights several times in the village. 

Implementing the plan to eliminate Katrothu Baddhu, the accused Ravinder entered into quarrel with another village Bansi on January 15 in the village and with the help of other four accused, they kicked on the private parts of Baddhu while trying to portray of saving Bansi from them. Baddhu died on the way to the hospital. Choutuppal CI Pardha Saradhi, Naryanapuram SI Malleshwari and others were present.
