TDP will bite the dust in ensuing general polls: Gutha

Update: 2019-01-18 08:11 IST

Nalgonda: Rythu Samanvaya Samithi State chairman and Nalgonda MP Gutha Sukender Reddy has predicted that the Telugu Desam Party would bite the dust in the ensuing general elections.

Addressing the media persons in Nalgonda on Thursday, Gutha said on the direction of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, the TRS working president, KT Rama Rao, had met YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to invite him to join federal front in the interest of two Telugu-speaking States and to bring radical changes to the national politics.

He raised objections over TDP leaders, including Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, making light of KTR-Jagan meet. “The Telugu Desam Party is unable to digest the increasing popularity of YS Jagan in AP from day to day. In view of this, the leaders of the Yellow party have been criticising the TRS- YSRCP meeting in order to divert the attention of the people of AP,” Gutha underlined.

He asked the TDP leaders to remember their four years honeymoon with the BJP before criticising other parties. TRS leaders from Nalgonda constituency leaders also attended the press meet.
