SOTA sheen is back!

SOTA Résonance Festival, Hyderabad’s premier classical music festival, is backwith its 2019 edition! Two days of stellar performances from some of the world’sgreatest musicians will be presented at the Trident on January 19 and 20.

 Two romantic orchestral masterpieces and three sparkling concertos by Germancomposers Bach and Beethoven will be given a fresh interpretation by Camerata Hyderabad - a one-of-its kind ensemble that attracts renowned instrumentalsoloists from all over the world.

Musicians of the highest caliber from different cultures bring varied perspectivestogether to create a special phenomenon - a powerful artistic dialogue and anintriguing musical narrative. This unique spirit of spontaneity and joy ofcollaborating with each other create a palpable energy in the music.

Among the illustrious roster of musicians this January is pianist Severin vonEckardstein - winner of the prestigious Queen Elizabeth International Pianocompetition. His simplicity is the perfect mask for his dazzling virtuosity – Von Eckardstein is capable of getting the most fascinating and wonderful sonorities from the piano while staying true to the composer’s ideas. 

Also, in the line-up isstar Cellist Sarah Rommel, who frequents festivals such as the hallowed Marlboro Music Festival and is doted on by some of the greatest musicians of our times including Dame Mitsuko Uchida. She brings to each performance her own personal dynamism and a much sought-after depth of tone. 

SOTA Résonance 2019 will present two unique programs, The Berlin Concert and The Vienna Concert to experience music in the way it is performed at the greatest venues of the worldright here in Hyderabad!
