Cycle rally held for save fuel campaign

Osmania University: OU Vice-Chancellor Prof S Ramachandram flagged off a cycle rally on the campus on Sunday. In an initiative to create awareness on saving fuel, Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) conducted it from Arts College to NCC arch. 

Addressing the gathering, Prof S Ramchandran said that use of bicycles would save fuel, avoid pollution and provide good health to the rider. Saving fuel is the only solution to bail out the city from the clutches of pollution, he observed. The VC also said that riding cycle would reduce cholesterol levels in the body. 

He appealed to everyone to realise that saving fuel will lead to greenery and clean environment. University OSD Prof Krishna Rao, HPCL co-ordinator JM Naik, PCRA Additional Director Naresh Khurana, Rajesh Naik, Bhoga Vishnu Murthi, Ramakrsihna and students took part.
