Men support for empowerment of women stressed

Hyderabad: Telangana Jagruthi founder and TRS MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha has emphasized on support and co-operation from males for empowerment of women in the society. Speaking at the concluding session of the two-day Telangana Jagruthi International Youth Conference staged at a city hotel on Sunday, she said Women constitute one half of our society and it is very important that they are given opportunities to match it.

Kavitha stated that of the delegates that attended the conference 50 per cent were women. She called upon them to work and strive in whatever way they can, for empowerment of women in the society. Kavitha explained to the audience on how Telangana Jagruthi was striving for skill development in women and unemployed youth in the State.
