AP CM conspiring against TS: TSEEEA
Saifabad: The Telangana State Electricity Engineering Employees’ Association (TSEEEA) on Monday accused Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of conspiring against the State with regard to the division of the employees even after the formation of two Telugu States.
Making the allegations against Naidu at a press conference here, association president Shivaji stated that a former judge of the Supreme Court Dharmadhikari was appointed to look into the issue of the employees’ division. He said the association had a meeting in the context of a hearing on the issue.
Shivaji pointed out that the Telangana High Court had ruled that 1,157 employees from Andhra Pradesh should be allocated to that State. He alleged that the AP government was disregarding the court orders and allegedly trying to send them back to Telangana, while appealing to Governor ESL Narasimhan to look into the issue.
Shivaji urged leaders who had worked with the Mahakutami to hold discussions with Naidu in an effort to find solutions to the issue. He stated that the Telangana government has given permission to create 13,500 new posts in the electricity department and that if the problems over the staff division were not solved soon, they would persist. The association leader warned that it was ready for another agitation to get the problems solved.
