Plea to save drain from encroachers

Tandur: Alleging official negligence in preventing construction of permanent structures on sewerage drain and government lands by some people, District Banjara Youth Association president Bhanu Pawar lodged a complaint with the Municipal Commissioner.

 The drain in Green City Colony adjacent to Kodangal Road is encroached by some vested elements and construction of shopping is going on it, he alleged. Bhanu Pawar lamented that though several complaints were submitted to the officials concerned, but no action was taken so far.
