BJP activists refute Sibal’s charges
Amberpet: Baghamberpet division BJP activists led by the division president Chukka Jagan staged a protest condemning the allegations made by the Congress senior leader Kapil Sibal, at Sri Ramana Theatre Cross Roads here on Tuesday. Kapil Sibal had made allegations that BJP won 2014 elections by tampering EVMs.
During the protest, BJP activists raised slogans against the Congress leader and burnt his effigy. When the Congress party was itself in power in 2014, how can BJP influence elections; this demonstrates the low level to which the Congress party leaders can stoop to malign BJP party, they said. They accused Congress party of indulging in dirty politics as they cannot digest the immense popularity PM Narendra Modi is enjoying just before the Parliament elections.
