Goutham Nagar getting contaminated water

Gaddiannaram: The residents of Gowtham Nagar were worried a lot as contaminated water is being supplied to the residents since last week.  Allegedly many of the locals received sewerage through drinking water pipe line to their houses. The residents exclaimed that though they had lodged complained to the officials on the day one itself, however,no action took place. 

The colony gets water from Asmangadh reservoir. But from the past seven days sewerage was being supplied instead of the drinking water.This issue was immediately brought to the notice of the officials but the officials failed to address and look into the problem resulting in people’s enormous strife for the drinking water.

Naidu, one of the residents of the division, lamented for the officials even failing to supply the water through tankers.The root cause of the problem is being traced, says Saritha, Asmangadh reservoir section deputy executive. She further said that they would set the things right within 24 hours.
