Long-awaited development works launched

Mallapur: MLA Bethi Subhash Reddy along with Corporator Pannala Devender Reddy launched various development works worth Rs 30 lakh in the division on Wednesday. The works include construction of community hall at a cost of Rs 14 lakh at Janapriya Township and launch of an underground drainage (UGD) pipeline worth Rs 16 lakh at Baba Nagar. 

Addressing the gathering, Bethi Subhash Reddy said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao committed to all-round development of the state. His popularity was once again visibly reflected in the first phase of gram panchayat polls where the maximum number of  panchayats were bagged by the TRS-backed candidates. 

Both the leaders assured to expedite completion of works without compromising on the quality. They asked officials concerned as well as contractor to take up the works without causing any inconvenience to the locals around. DE Narsinga Rao, AE Venu, ward committee members T Srinivas Goud, Kunti Krishna, Sailesh  Reddy, Murahari, Janapriya Township president Prasad, members Uma Maheshwara Rao, and others were present at the inauguration ceremony.
