Hyderabad-Gajwel rail line to be ready by March
Siddipet: MLA T Harish Rao along with RDO Jaya Chandra Reddy reviewed development works in the constituency at RDO office here on Thursday. He said they received various complaints from farmers over updation of land records and asked the officials concerned to resolve the issue soon.The MLA held discussions on land acquisition in the proposed area.
He also reviewed Shadhi Mubarak and Kalyana Lakshmi schemes. People’s representatives and officials were present. Harish Rao reviewed the progress of railway line construction with Collector Krishna Bhasker, Joint Collector Padmakar, South Central Railway CE Subramaniam and RDO Jaya Chandra Reddy.He said it was aimed at running trains between Hyderabad and Gajwel via Manoharabad by March end. He directed the officials concerned to complete Manoharabad-Kottapalli railway line works on a war-footing basis. Already, land acquisition for the Gajwel to Duddeda line has been completed.
Railway CE Subramaniam said they would complete the works in four phases at a cost of Rs 11.6 crore and that the first phase from Manoharabad and Gajwel would be completed by March. He sought cooperation of revenue officials in completing the works and expressed dissatisfaction at working style of railway officials. He asked them to complete second phase land acquisition in 10 days. Revenue officials, railway officials and people’s representatives were present.
