Traffic awareness camp at Vijaya High School

Kapra: In an attempt to create a thought of social responsibility in the young minds, Inspector Anjaiah along with Rachakonda traffic training institute SI Bhikshapathi conducted traffic awareness camp at Vijaya High School in Kushaiguda on Thursday. They interacted with the high school students and explained to them traffic rules and regulations.

The Inspector noted that a majority of the deceased in accidents were youngsters. He said that driving without licence or helmet, over speeding, triple riding and signal jumping were the main reasons behind the mishaps. School correspondent K Rajeshwar appealed to the students to play a major role in reducing the number of accidents.

 He advised them to alert their parents about traffic norms while travelling with them. Most of the parents would listen to their wards, the correspondent observed. He also cautioned minors not to drive vehicles even in narrow roads in the colonies. The correspondent also advised the parents not to allow their children to ride vehicles. SI Devender, head constable Somnath, head mistress MV Padmavathi, and vice-prinicipal Vengababu were present.
