Youth exhorted to enrollment as voters

Necklace Road: Social activist Kaushik undertook a padayatra on Necklace Road up to PV Ghat on the occasion of National Voters Day on Friday with a slogan ‘Mera vote meradesh.’ The walk was intended to encourage youth to enroll as voters and participate in elections. 

Kaushik said that although youth constitute 52 per cent of total population, only 50 per cent of them were participating in elections. He urged youth to participate in every election to change the fate of the nation.  Stating that several voter enrollment centers were opened across the state, he appealed to the youth to avail of the opportunity and register themselves as voters.
