Pawan Kalyan feels at home with KCR
Hyderabad: The customary At Home hosted by Governor of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh ESL Narasimhan turned into a venue for discussion on the political scenario in Andhra Pradesh.
While the Governor was busy going around meeting all the guests, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had a 10-minute meeting with Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan and is said to have reviewed the present political situation in the state. KCR’s proposed visit to Amaravati on February 14 to participate in the house warming ceremony of YSRCP chief Jaganmohan Reddy’s new house in Amaravati also reportedly figured during the talks.
TRS working president K T Rama Rao was also seen discussing with Pawan Kalyan. It may be recalled that in the past efforts were made to bring Jagan and Pawan together. But the efforts failed. While Pawan had called on KCR some time back, KTR had gone to Jagan’s Lotus pond residence and held political discussions and invited him to join the Federal Front proposed by KCR.
Though the Governor had invited Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and leader of opposition Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, both gave a miss to the function. Instead, Deputy Chief Minister K E Krishnamurthy represented the AP government at Raj Bhavan.
Meanwhile, KCR had a one-on-one meeting with the Governor for a brief period and later he went around and greeted other opposition leaders. He was seen hugging the former Congress Legislature Party leader K Jana Reddy. He also wished TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy, TTDP president L Ramana and others.
