Devotees set out on foot to Srisailam

Tandur: As many as 130 devotees on Sunday took out a padayatra to Srisailam temple from Tandur town. They undertook the padayatra after performing puja at Badreshwara temple. The devotees will reach the Srisailam temple town via Kodangal, Kosgi, Palamur, Nagarkurnool and Umamaheshwaram forest area. They will return after offering special pujas on Maha Shivaratri.

A businessman belonging to Tandur organised ‘Annadanam’ to the devotees.Municipal Councilor Neeraja Bal Reddy, BC leader Raj Kumar, Prabahakar Goud, Venkat Reddy, Srinivas, Mallesh and others were present on the occasion.
