Don’t get intimidated by ruling party leaders, Uttam tells Congress men
Chintalapalem (Suryapet): Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief Uttam Kumar Reddy felt that politics in the State have become worse as common people could no more contest the elections.
On Monday, he campaigned for gram panchayat elections at Dondapadu, Vajinepally, Gandhinagar Thanda, Gudimalkapuram and Chintalapalem villages of Chintalapalem mandal in the district.
Addressing the villagers, he urged the people to support the Congress-backed candidates in gram panchayat elections, and expressed his concern over the present complicated politics in the State. He advised the people to elect the Sarpanches and ward members based on their capabilities and character.
He suggested the leaders and party cadre to not to get intimidated by the ruling party leaders and assured them that he would take care of the party leaders and cadre in all aspects. Party leaders Konda Veera Reddy, Pulla Reddy, G Nagireddy, D Laxma Reddy, Ramulu Naik, Ustala Naryan Reddy, Ustala Srujana and Congress-backing Sarpanch and ward member candidates took part in the campaign.
