Hyderabad: Will Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy meet at Sri Sarada Peetham in Visakhapatnam on February 14? This is the question making rounds in the political circles in the two Telugu states, ever since KCR said that he will give a ‘return gift’ to Chandrababu Naidu in the ensuing elections. KCR has been invited to the unveiling of Ammavari statue on the premises of the Peetham on February 14 by its head Sri Swaroopananda Saraswati during the latter’s recent visit to Hyderabad.

Jagan also received invitation from Sarada Peetham to witness the holy function. On the same day on February 14, Jagan will be celebrating his house warming ceremony in the new capital of Andhra Pradesh; Amaravati.

Initially, KCR had planned to attend the ceremony at Jagan’s residence and then go to Visakhapatnam on the same day. In view of the growing outcry from different quarters against KCR’s recent statement that he will visit Andhra and campaign against TDP, the TRS chief reportedly decided to stay away from attending Jagan’s function and instead preferred to take part in unveiling the statue in the Port City.

Sources said that KCR and Jagan considered the event at the Peetham a safe bet to have a brief political interaction while attending the function. Reports says that the Telangana CM will give some tips to YSR Congress chief, who is struggling hard to give a tough fight to ruling TDP in the ensuing Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections. It is learnt that the informal meeting between KCR and Jagan will be finalised two days before the function in Visakhapatnam.
