Cops urged to waive penalties on cabbies

Musheerabad: Telangana Taxi& Drivers joint Action Committee Chairman Shaik Salauddin submitted a representation to DCP (Traffic) to waive off challans issued to cab drivers.  He appealed to the government to waive off the challans.

Salauddin said that many signals in the city were not working properly, due to which there were having to pay price. He said challans had become a burden on the drivers whose incomes were already declining rapidly.
