Former RTI Commissioner donates for CC cameras

Rachakonda: Dr Varre Venkateshwarulu Yadav, former RTI commissioner of united AP, met Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagavath at his office and handed over a cheque for Rs 1 lakh for installation of cc cameras, on Thursday. Venkateshwarulu Yadav belongs to Sadarshapuram village of Mothukuru mandalam which is located in Rachakonda commissionerate limits. He donated the amount for installation of cc cameras in his village.

Venkateshwarulu lauded the Telangana government for its development programmes and efficient police mechanism to maintain law and order. He also praised the Commissioner for his efforts in maintaining law and order in Rachakonda limits.

“As a responsible citizen and former former RTI Commissioner, it is my duty to contribute to the state government’s vision and therefore donated the amount,” he said. Mahesh Bhagawath appreciated him for coming forward to help the police in maintaining peace.
