Trophies presented to tourney winners

Narayankhed: MLA Bhupal Reddy said that victory and defeat were part of sports on the concluding day of MBR night circle tournament here on Wednesday.The MLA presented winner trophy with Rs 11,111 cash reward to risky riders of Narayankhed and runner up trophy with Rs 5,111 cash reward to red riders. Bhupal Reddy appreciated MPTC Mujamil for organising the seven-day tournament. He wished students to excel in state and national level games.

The MLA said that the earlier governments failed to tap the talent of rural sportsman, while the TRS government has been encouraging them to achieve heights by giving incentives.Former sarpanch Nazeeb, SI Sandeep, market committee vice chairman Basit, former Manur MPP Mohan Rao, Ravinder Nayak and others were present.
